Spence and Luke took a quick trip to Salt Lake to visit Grandpa Thomas in the hospital last week. Luke's Dad has spent the last two weeks in the ICU due to complications with Alzheimers and Parkinsons. Thankfully he's been moved out of the ICU but continues to recover in the hospital.Luke was so happy he was able to spend a little time with his Dad. He and Spence also got some quality time in with Grandma Thomas, Aunt Grace, and Aunt Kristi and her fun family. Unfortunately, it had to be a quick trip , but I think it was a memorable one for the boys.
Luke forgot the camera, but Sandy took a few pictures for us at Temple Square. Thanks Sandy.

How cool is it that Luke can just grab a kid and jump on a plane! (I know it isn't that easy but nice to have the option available for times like this).
Sorry about your Dad's Health Problems. But it was great that Luke had time with his Dad..... and that Spencer had time with his Dad.
I'm so glad Luke's dad is doing a little better and that Luke got to go and see him. I love that pic of Spencer looking up at the statue of Christ. So precious!
Glad to hear that Luke's Dad is recovering. How neat that your boys got to spend some quality time together. And Spence is the perfect age to be able to remember the trip he got to take all by himself with his Dad:0)
