Kar painted her first painting on canvas the other day and I just had to post it. I have a great appreciation for art but unfortunately know very little about art in general. I've always hoped Kar and I would some day take art classes together. (and cooking classes would be nice while we're at it :) ) Anyways, I'm hoping she won't surpass me before we get the chance.Monday, August 04, 2008

I've always wished I had even the slightest artistic bone in my body. But alas, I do not. So, instead, I will enjoy...and envy...the artistic abilities of your cute daughter!
Carly really is an artist. She always uses all these bright colors. I love it and I think that kids art truly is the best. It is so innocent. I love your Every Day song. We miss you guys.
What a great picture, very cool. I am the same way, no artistic ability, it's so nice to have a husband that can actually draw what the kids want drawn. All my animals look like a really bad dog!
