Thanks Matt

Thanks to my brother Matt I have pictures from our week with my family in Oregon. Every single family member was able to make it. Luke and I were not planning on going until the very last minute. Our flights ended up opening up and Luke was able to get some time off. So, I guess you could call it a last minute Haroldsen Family Reunion. Kat and her kids were in from GA, Joe and his family along with Mike from UT and Matt surprised us all and flew in from NY.
I was a little disappointed though because our camera wasn't working that week so I really missed out on a lot of photo opps. But, thanks to Matt I have some. Thanks for the picts brotha.

Some big news that occurred on our trip was that our bro Mikey introduced his engagement to Angela. We just LOVE her and feel like she already fits in perfectly. This picture does not at all depict Mike's true excitement for his engagement. Mikey's head over hills in love with his lady and can't wait for their special day. Congrats guys! They are getting married in the Salt Lake Temple in October. Can't wait!

Now the next picture I could do an entire post on. Let me introduce you to Super Danny. This super hairdresser ended up cutting almost every single adult female's hair in the family, along with two teenagers and two children in just 7 days. Our Mom was the first in Super Danny's hair cutting marathon. We all just had to watch him in action. Talk about an audience, but of course it didn't phase Super Danny. His super hero powers allow him to work under even the greatest of pressures .
Danny you really couldn't be any nicer and may I add talented. Thanks for cutting a billion and one heads of hair. Your awesome!

Kar with Danny after her cut. Thanks Danny! She loves it!

Kat's cut. Isn't she a beauty?! I love this picture!

I was even lucky enough to get a Danny original as well. He's so nice. Love you Danny boy!

This is just a random picture Matt took of Kar. She was working it ( as usual) for the camera.

Our first day together we went to the Portland Zoo. Here's the crew all together watching a bird show. It's really fun. The birds fly over and into the audience. One poor audience member was even pooed on during the show. It's very interactive. :)

We all took the Max to the Zoo. The Max is Portland's major public transportation. It's a great way to avoid traffic, be more environmentally conscious and entertain the kids. The kids just LOVE it.Here's Matt with Austin, Cody and Makenna in the tunnel waiting for the Max.

This is a park we try to hit every time the the whole family gathers. It's called the OGI Park.( which also happens to be the same park Luke and I took our engagement pictures at) We usually play group games, eat food, hang out and just have a good time together. This was a good old game of kick ball. We like to stick with the classics.

We were able to reenacted another Haroldsen tradition by hiking in a park we grew up hiking in. I must really be getting old because for the life of me I can't recall the name of it. Anyways, here's my beautiful sister's Kat and Sarah taking a photo brake. Don't you just love all the green?!

All the gals and Matt & Danny hit a Yoga class that our Sister April instructed. This is all of us after the class. April really did a wonderful job. I felt so rejuvenated and relaxed afterwords.

We were in Oregon over the fourth of July. Which means fireworks. The picture above is Kar with her cousins walking to the park were we watched a fireworks show. Aren't they cute. Yea for cousin time. :)

Silly Cody all pumped and ready to watch the fireworks.

Dave (my bro) and his gorgeous wife April waiting for the show to start. We showed up a couple hours early to get a good spot. We had a great time playing games with the kids, eating junk food and just enjoying one another's company.
I sure love my family and feel so blessed to be related to so many wonderful, talented, creative, fun, good people. Love ya fam!
