I'm happy to see our once so little guy is not so little any more. Noah was born at around 8:30am last year today. He weighed in at 5 pounds 5 ounces. Our smallest one yet.
I can't even tell you how grateful we are to have him in our family.
Last year today we (okay I) was a complete mess . After a difficult pregnancy ending with complications, we were told Noah would be a healthy baby once he was delivered. Unfortunately that was not the case. His lungs were not quite developed enough, so he ended up spending two weeks in the NICU . As you can imagine we were a little more then anxious to bring our little guy home. More importantly we were more then anxious to have him healthy. Just looking at this picture brings back so many memories. I remember just feeling so stressed out not knowing when or how our little guy was going to get healthy enough to come home. Post baby hormones didn't help the situation either.I think I probably cried at least once a day. I absolutely hated the fact that I couldn't have Noah by my side all the time. I tell you the NICU experience is far different then having a healthy baby. Not quite as enjoyable that's for sure. If anything it helps you to realize what a blessing it is to have a healthy child and that it shouldn't ever be taken for granted. Luckily Noah came home like I said earlier after two weeks and we couldn't have been more thrilled.
We are beyond grateful that the Heavenly Father blessed us with such a toilet paper eating, garbage crazed, shower loving, adorable kid. What a wonderful first year we've had with him. I can't wait for many more. Happy birthday Noah!

Wow! You wouldn't guess he was so little looking at his picture now. It's amazing how much they grow in 365 days! Happy Birthday Noah!
What an adorable little guy that Noah is! I'm so glad that he is healthy and strong. I look at Jack every day and just thank Heavenly Father that I have been blessed with a healthy baby. Glad Noah is too...despite a rocky start!
Oh, and you are the strongest woman I know. So grounded. I admire you tremendously.
Happy B-day big guy! He even had chubby cheek at birth!!! He looks exactly the same.
Boy Noah is growing up to fast. I totally spaced his birthday. I did not have it written down like I usually do. If things are not written down they just don't happen. I will get something in the mail for him tomorrow. Sorry Noah.

He is so big!! Last time I saw him I think he was like 3 weeks old. He is so cute and I can't wait to see him at Christmas time!! Happy Birthday Noah!!
