Pigs 'n' a blanket

This post is to Jenni my sister in-law. She did a cute post on a meal her husband Luke's brother, Will made for her. Well, after almost nine years of marriage Luke can bring this to the table. It's the classic pigs 'n' a blanket. He is very sweet. The first night home after his trips he will generally cook dinner for the family just to give me a break. He does a lot of pancakes, or frozen pizzas. I would have to say though, this was one of his most creative. It was all him too. I don't think I've ever even made pigs 'n' a blanket before. So, Luke you get a A++ for originality.

So let's see:

He's handsome, wears a uniform and he can cook? Quite the catch you reeled in, Jen!

The boys just asked me who that pretty princess is (Karly's pic in the sidebar). It's shame we haven't gotten together yet, you now live so close!

Mark made those once....it must be a man thing! Next time tell Luke to wrap a little cheese around the hot dog...I mean pig, before adding the blanket. It's a nice variety! :)

I am feeling pretty good about the biscuits and gravy I received on Saturday morning before conference and then the french toast with powdered sugar and whip cream that awaited me when I awoke on Sunday morning.

yea for cooking skills in men!

I haven't had lunch yet and I must say that that does look pretty good! Matt made me a gourmet meal for part of my Christmas present. He even arranged for the kids to be somewhere overnight. Husbands who cook and are aware of our need for a break are so irresistable:0)
I give Luke an A+ too!

I loved how Luke plated his offering. You can eat without getting you hands dirty. I really enjoy reading your blog, even though I don't comment as often as I should. I loved the picture of "mini-Luke".

I remember my mom making pigs in a blanket. I should whip them out for my kids- I'm sure they'd be tickled to eat them. Actually maybe I'll just show Reed your blog and he'll be "inspired" to make them. love it!

HAHAHA, well at least Luke didn't add any "special" ingredients. Or did he? :)
