It's Show Time

Kar's on Spring break this week and the kids decided to put on a little play for Noah and I today.
I got such a kick out of it. So, of course I had to share.

The name of the play was "The play for Prophet Gordan B. Hinkley" Kar said it was to always remind of us him. Can you tell we just had conference weekend?!

Spence was the stage hand.

They attracted a huge audience.

This was the program. Kar said I could take notes if I wanted to. I was actually happy to see Kar paid attention to something during conference. (We talked a lot about the First Presidency and how President Uchtdorf was called. So, I guess she remembered that name. What a funny girl.)

The cast

It started pretty dramatically. They started with a rendition of "I am a Child of God".

They also sang a duet. I couldn't tell what the song was. Spence was really feeling it. :)

Spence tried to play a few tunes for us, but unfortunately his instrument's batteries died. :)

Despite the technical difficulties it was a great show.

I believe they will be performing again tomorrow morning after chores if anyone is interested.

Noah what did you think of the show?? He was speechless. :)

Love this post. I've witnessed a couple of home written/performed plays recently. I'm looking forward to the time when our girls start doing that.

Your kids just have the biggest imagination ever! It's either the water in Senoia, or you and Luke! Me thinks it's the latter.

I wish I could of been sitting with the stuffed animals watching the show. I'm sure it was one of their best. Good memories... I still remember when we did our plays. Of course we always forced you to be the boy. Sorry about that.

LOL that was the cutest post ever. I have to say your kids are amazingly smart and creative!! And Karly even spelled Uchtdorf's name right. Wait, I don't even think I just spelled it right.

SO sweet! It has to be becasue you have a girl, she forced her brother into it. SO sweet that she listens and learns such good things from you. So, growing up you were always the boy?? Hum, I guess having all brothers wasn't always terrible, I was or course THE Princess.
