We had decided that
Kar was not going to have a Birthday party this year. Instead we decided it would be okay if
Kar invited a couple friends to be part of some birthday activities. (a.k.a. a b-day get- together, although it seemed a lot like a party to me. :))
We went to Red Robin for lunch and then went swimming.
Aunt Kat came.

Kar and Julianna after we were kicked out of the pool due to some thunder. The girls were such good sports. We ended up going back to our house for b-day cake and for a quick game of hide-and -seek and Dead Man, Dead Man. Fun, fun!!!!
Kar was up and dressed by 6am. She was WAY excited to go on a date with Dad for a b-day breakfast.
