The Halloween Bash

It was a great Halloween this year. Luke was able to make it home from a lay over long enough to go to a Halloween party and go trick-or-treating with the kids. It was so fun to be together.

This was the best picture we could get of the kids all dressed up before we left for the party. We probably should of found a place where the sun wasn't blazing in their eyes. Oh well, this picture of Noah cracks me up.

On a side note Kar was a "RUSSIAN Princess" not a "DISNEY Princess", because according to Kar, "Disney Princesses are for babies and she's a big girl now".

Some of our friends threw a party before heading out to go trick-or-treating. Our friend Kenda is quite the hostest with the mostest. She made the cutest goblin appetizers. Such as Goblin finger nails (Pumpkin seeds) and Mummy Yummies or was it Gummy Mummies(little cupcakes that looked like mummies). It was all so creative and so fun to be with friends.

Kar with Audra and Avery.

All the kiddies before taking off to go trick-or-treating. Talk about a cute crowd.

Our friends even arranged transportation for everyone. The kids loved riding in the trailer. Especially Spence. He wasn't in much of a mood to go walking , not even for candy. Go figure.

Kar on the other hand ran from house to house with her little girl friends. It was pretty funny. We couldn't keep up with her. She really raked in the candy.

Luke was able to some how squeeze Noah into a stroller. I was very impressed. I'm just not sure Noah was too thrilled about it.

The kids checking out their loot when they got home.. Kar counted 164 pieces of candy and even decided to write down how many pieces of each kind of candy she had. I think she counted like 20 some suckers. I'm really hoping we can talk the kids into letting the Halloween Fairy come this year so we can loose most of the candy. Last year after the Halloween Fairy came Kar said she never wanted her to come again. I thought it was pretty cool. Yes, the Fairy takes all their candy but they get a present instead. I think Kar got a Heidi DVD that was made in the early 70's last year. Why wouldn't she like that??? :) Luke picked it out of the dollar section at Target. Anyways, maybe in a week or so they will be more open to the Fairy coming.

Great costumes! Your kids looked adorable. What a great idea about the Halloween fairy. My kids got gipped, their candy mysteriously disappeared.

Awwe so cute!! I love seeing all the kids in their costumes. Our friend's baby had the same dragon costume as Noah except his was green. :) It was super cute!! Love the claw paws.
