Kar read her
first chapter book last week. She picked Junie B. Jones out from our library and I really thought she was being over ambitious. To my
surprise she read the entire book in two days and couldn't stop talking about it. She has already began her second book and has almost finished it. I really couldn't be any more thrilled for her. As an adult I
struggle to be a reader. I guess you could say I have a short attention
span. I've worried my poor example may rub off on our kids, but this gives me hope. Here's hopefully to a new found love for
Kar . The written word, isn't it a beautiful thing?!

Haha, I had to delete my last comment because of a typo. Anyway, we love Junie B. It's the only book on CD we own and Missy Moo requests it everytime we get in the car. We're so proud of you!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Junie B Jones!!! That was probably one of the first books I really enjoyed reading! IN 3rd grade I dressed up as her for a halloween party. That's how I got the nickname thatgrace because Junie always called her friend "that Grace" Anyway my point it... Good Choice Kar! Aunt Gracie is proud!
Grace loved those books. Isn't it fun to watch them love reading.

Way to go karly. You are so smart.
My girls devoured those books! Good job Kar! Isn't it crazy when they amaze you with their talents that you didn't even know they had. Kids are great! I have never been a huge reader either, but in my old age I am growing to love it more and more. There is hope:0)
