For our special little guy

Luke mentioned the other day after looking through our blog that he didn't think we had enough pictures of Spence on it. Luke and I get a little paranoid about Spencer feeling like the "middle child". To prevent any possible future syndromes here's a post for our crazy little Spence.

Thanks Kristi for the website.

Spence has a new found love for the arts. :) I'm not sure what the deal is but for the last month or so Spence has been spending a lot of time coloring and painting. He has never shown any kind of interest until now. I guess we'll see if it lasts. I personally hope it does.

Spence and his forehead have been through a lot together. That kid hits his head on just about everything. No joke. Maybe it's the size of it. I don't know, but at least once every sacrament meeting Spencer does a major bonk on the pews. It makes a loud enough noise that it attracts everyones attention. Sometimes he's a brave guy and is able to act as though it never happened but sometimes he has a brake down. It's almost like he just can't take another hit to the head. I can't blame him either.
This picture was taken just minutes after a head collision with Kar. Although there wasn't any major damage he insisted a bandage would help him feel better. He's a funny kid.

Spence is always up for a good time. If there's a party going on he wants to be part of it. Here's Spence after having a good time with flour.

Something else I appreciate about Spence is that he is my little side kick. No matter what project or chore I'm involved in he is ALWAYS right beside me. Believe it or not he works until it's done. So, if I'm vacuuming he's vacuuming right beside me until the job is done. (Unfortunately, I think he's a bit task oriented like his mother is. Poor guy.) It's very cute too, whenever I thank him for his help he always says "My pleasure". What a gentleman. :)

So, that's just a little bit about our Spence. He's a blast. Can't imagine our family with out him.
Those middle kids sure are great.
