The entire family walked Karly to her classroom this morning. We were able to get a few shots of her in the classroom without embarrassing her too badly. Afterwords Kar asked if it would be okay if tomorrow she walked by herself. Go figure. :)
When the school day was over Kar could not say enough good things about her new teacher. She LOVES her new teacher and said she got exactly who she had hoped for. She also loves having her very own desk. Kar said at recess she was able to play with some of her good friends from last year. Ohh, isn't life grand?! We are so happy our Karly girl had such a great first day. I'm sure she'll have many more to come.

The earlier you start school the sooner you get out. It has always been my experience that kids are much more ready to start school and ready to get out in the summer earlier. Karly sure looks grown up. I am sure that Mom and Dad will be good for her. (It is always nice to have a safe place to come home to.)
