Just a few birthday pics (okay more then a few)

It was a full day of celebrating in the Thomas home today. Because of parents (okay me) who are just as excited about the kid's birthday gifts as they are, we open our presents first thing in the morning. Here's Spence showing us how old he is. Can you tell it's his first time?!

Unfortunately, Luke is out of town so he participated via the phone.

Spencey opening his gifts. He got a scooter, a hot wheel race car, a lunch box, and a party next Friday with his friends and Uncle Mark and Aunt Laura. (who will be visiting from Utah, we are sooooo excited)

Noah enjoyed the Christmas wrapping. :)

We try to see how many times we can sing Happy Birthday to our kids on there Birthday. This was number two.

Spence said he wanted chocolate-chip pancakes for his birthday breakfast.

The new scooter

Birthday song number three. We had the Rose's over for cake . (jello cake, my new addiction) If you haven't had one yet you are missing out. It's the perfect Summer cake. I got the recipe from a friend in Arkansas and I have been in love ever since. Thanks Rachel!

Spence claimed his piece. Some how his fingers/chin made it into the cake during the pre-cutting of the cake.
Can you tell how excited he was for his slice?!

Kar showing her little home made gift for Spence. Don't worry Mom and Dad she's not giving away your Shark Tales movie. It just means she's actually willing to watch the next movie party. :)

Cheers!

Noah was really hoping for a slice of the cake. Sorry buddy, maybe next year!

The kids had to take their scooters out for a spin.

I thought this was a mature look for Spence. Look at that big three year old!

It's hard being a three year old. By the end of the day Spence was all tuckered out.

To Jello cake wanters:
I knew I should of posted the recipe for the jello cake, but I am way to lazy to do that. But for those of you who really want it. You just bake a cake, I have only ever had it with white cake and then when it's done baking poke holes in it with a straw. You make up a box of jello just as the directions say and then you just pour it over the cake and refridgerate for about 4-6 hours. Then you put Whip cream over the top. It is soooooo good . If you like that sort of thing. I actually just ate two HUGE slices. It was good! Happy jello cake making. :)

Man, I've been so out of it the last two weeks and I've missed a bunch of great posts! I hate that.

Wow Jenn, you are awesome at birthdays! Spencer sure is a cute little guy! We especially like the last picture where he's sleeping sitting up. That always cracks me up when kids are so tired they just fall asleep in any position. You have such a beautiful little family!

Jenn hilarious! I laughed at almost every picture. Spencer continues to prove his photo skills. My favorite would have to be the G.Q. moment with the scooter! Can you email me some of these pics and others of your kids so I can have them when I get trunky for the Thomas'

I love the pictures. The last one reminds me of last year when Anders played so hard in the morning he fell asleep just before everyone showed up for the party.

I also love the picture that show more of your house it looks so beautiful and decorated so nicely.
