Is that a cow in a fur cloak?

Sometimes I just want to toss all our kid's toys, because I am so sick of finding them everywhere. How mean am I? But, when I saw this cow dressed in Polly Pocket attire, I had a change of heart. Who ever says toys don't help cultivate creativity in a child is wrong. Look at Karly's choice of a color pallet for a cow. I love how she chose spots for a spotted cow.

Now this next little project of Karly's was interesting. What would you guess it was?

Any guesses now?

How about now?

I'm not sure if we should be concerned that our daughter created a cemetery or not. I think we'll just chalk it up as a funny thing kids do???

Hahahahahaa! Well, maybe she was making wooden beds, not caskets? LOL that is too funny though.

Jenn!! I'm so glad you found me and made a comment on my blog! And I'm glad to see yours is back up and running...I've added you to my fav's. Anyway, with all the talk we do about Dallin at our house and visiting the cemetary, I'm sure we will be in the club of kids who build cemetaries with blocks, too. Ha! Kids are so, so funny, aren't they? Glad everyone seems so happy...although sleepy. :-)

Yes, I'd say you have quite the creative girl on your hands. I love that she's dressing her cow in clothes! Hilarious!!!

Yeah, I agree. Possibly they were wooden beds, not caskets. :)

I actually asked Karly what she made and she said graves. We had a little talk about graves after that. I'm afraid the poor girl has been to the cemetary way too many times as a youngster. She also has memories of Hayley's funeral. She talks about it quite a bit. So yes, we have a child who's a little too familiar with death.

Cows in clothes, why didn't i think of that? I didn't get the creativity gene that's for sure.

I like how Karly remembers Haley's funeral, it's amazing how much kids remember. I think Karly might just be the first to recognize Haley in the Millennium.

That is so funny jenn! She is quite creative. It's good that you took that opportunity to talk with her about her cemetery. You are such a good Momma.

Oh my. She really is creative. She can dress cows and make a wooden cemetaries all in one day. That is quite a wide spectrum. That's Awesome. I love how she actually put people in the graves. That is weird to think that a child could understand that at such a young age. You're a good mom. I bet that it is really hard to try to explain it to her. She's going to be so happy when she can meet up with Haley someday. It is like she already knows a lot about her. Maybe Haley likes spotted jackets on cows too. Hahaha. Your kids are too cute. Can we come steal them?
