The kids and I did another run this weekend. Kar ran the 5K with a girlfriend, while the boys and I ran the 1 mile. We were able to recruit a couple of the boy's friends to run with us. I didn't realize when I took on the race all the boys would run different speeds. It was a little nerve racking trying to keep my eye on all four boys. Poor Noah got lost in the shuffle and I found him crying walking alone. It was pretty pitiful. It was even raining at the time. Who lets their four year old run by himself in the rain?! It was a mother of the year moment. Once I found him we ran the rest of the way. Spence did great though. They were thrilled to all get medals for their efforts. Spence even brought his to church today.
Kar rocked it. She got first place in her age bracket.

I'm so proud of all of you!! Running is terrific and in the rain is beyond terrific. I'm actually a little jealous and I have to wonder if I'll ever run a race again. What is it they say, A family who runs together stays together, except if it's raining. Keep it up! Run one for Granma!
